Homeowners to fork out
Damage caused by each winter’s icy blasts costs the average home in the country £693.36 to repair each year. A total of 51.4 per cent of men and 59.8 per cent of women had forked out up to £5,000 to repair damaged to their gardens, including fences blown over and smashed garden furniture.
